Host your next event at Spirits of the Red Sand

Spirits of the Red Sand hosts our day and night Aboriginal cultural experiences from within the grounds of the Beenleigh Historical Village and Tin Cup Café, a fully licensed restaurant on site.

The Beenleigh Historical Village takes you on a journey of years gone by. A collection of early Australian heritage is organised as a village with over twenty heritage buildings from the 1800s along with an Indigenous village complete with Gunyah (dwelling) huts and several fully air-conditioned auditorium spaces, plus a fully licensed restaurant.

A conference or event at the Beenleigh Historical Village is a fascinating insight into our Australian history and Aboriginal culture.  If you want to breathe some history, culture, and flair into your next conference or event, then come and check us out.

Each of these spaces is unique, but when combined you have the full run of the historical village and can really create a dream event with none of the restrictions of busy, less flexible venues.

  • "I Loved it! Spirits of the red sands is very well done from every aspect. The moving theater show was fantastic. The staging was great. The aboriginal cast were amazing (and authentic) as were the support cast... The food - out of this world (even for a vegetarian) . "Trip Advisor, Gold Coast, March 2020

  • "I was told this one of the best outings and it is absolutely true. An eye opening show by 7 indigenous performers some of whom are direct descendants of the subject community. So interesting, so enlightening such fun and it should be compulsory. A new twist to a dinner show with a very good Aussie meal to finish off the night."TripAdvisor, Queensland, February 2020
